Why me?
We stand together in more ways than one. In spite of incredible growth, that feeling for me of “stuckness and inner-critic appears.” I wake up every morning and have to manifest my own affirmations by reminding myself that I am strong, that I need to fight any challenge with grace, and that not one drop of opinions will define my self-worth or walk through my channel of inner peace. I identify at one time or another in my life with vulnerability, discord, imbalance, and life changes as we experience, either with that tug-of-war of self-worth and self-acceptance, discord in relationships, intimacy concerns, career transitions/stress, or parental conflicts. With almost two decades of experience, trained as a clinical social worker, licensed in Florida and North Carolina, I can teach you how therapy can help shape you, even if it seems unattainable, impossible, my goal is to show you how to use your smile, confidence and strength as a weapon to face the challenges that knocks on your door.
MY BACKGROUND
Much of my career has been dedicated to working in healthcare Social Work and Case Management, being that ear to listen, support, advocate to empower my patients on making tough decisions. I have provided intensive therapy, crisis intervention, domestic violence support groups and counseling to individuals and groups from adolescents to older adults. My experience includes working with Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Maternity, Oncology, Cardiac and Terminal patients.
THE INSPIRATION
I am inspired everyday by my clients' resilience, their setbacks and comebacks and am reminded of the humility and positivity that lies in their stories for my own journey. I started Bliss Therapeutics for Women to use my skills and many years of training to offer a fresh, innovative and strength based approach to contribute to the healing, the cycle of change by embracing therapy differently. My focus is not necessarily based on a mental health diagnosis but more to identify the core issues, dive a bit deeper, help you adapt, accept and learn which skills you require to move on by healing.
A BIT MORE…
Sufanna embraces the various areas, women experience and has chosen to design her Counseling services to address critical areas in Women’s mental health. Through an empowering approach, Sufanna strives to guide her clients to evolve by teaching them how to accept difficult life experiences with the mindset that “your emotions are NOT the problem, they are telling you something, listen”.

I know failure, I know success, I have felt heartbreak, divorce almost broke me, raising children has challenged me, health concerns have stopped me in my tracks, and the fear of aging parents has taught me to step back and reflect on life, change and create my own legacy. About to embrace another transition of life as an empty nester, I choose to process my grief by awakening the person that was hidden behind my mom role.
